What is Vermeil?

Vermeil (pronounced ver-MAY) is a very specific type of premium gold finish. Simply put, it is a combination of a very thicklayer of gold over high-quality sterling silver. For your Jewellery to be labelled ‘vermeil’ its base must be of high-quality sterling silver and athick gold layer of at least 10k or more.
