Different to the Red Tiger

The Pyzel Power Tiger model has been made to fit in between the Red Tiger and The Ghost. The Power Tiger is a refined version of the Red Tiger with slight changes for it to excel when the waves start to get bigger and more powerful.

The Pyzel Power Tiger Features

Outline: The Power Tiger features a pulled-in nose and tail, creating more curve in the outline. This adjustment enhances the board’s ability to handle speed and tight turns, making it ultra-responsive in more powerful surf.

Tail Design: The narrower tail holds better at speed and through turns, preventing sliding out off the bottom. The extra curve through the tail adds looseness in tighter pockets.

Pulled-in Nose: The refined nose design allows the board to fit seamlessly into hollow, cupped-out waves without catching, providing smooth transitions and control.

Rails: Thinned-out rails improve the board’s ability to sink in speedier, more powerful waves, aiding in carving and barrels without pushback.

Rocker: An additional 1/8″ of curve through the last 18″ in the tail loosens up the board, enhances rail transitions at speed, and boosts holding ability through turns.

Sizing: Pyzel suggests riding it at the same length as the Red Tiger but with a touch less volume, or an inch longer and slightly narrower. Stock dims are around about 1/4″ narrower and 1/16″ thinner than the Red Tiger in the same lengths

Other Board Suggestions: Seen the Power Tiger but looking for something that will give you drive through slightly smaller and weaker waves, Maybe the Red Tiger is better suited.
