Hyperlite’s designer Greg Nelson worked with team rider Shaun Murray to design a wakeboard specifically for creating a base and solid foundation of riding skills. The 2019 Hyperlite Baseline Wakeboard is the result. With a wider overall profile for increased stability on the water and smooth carving. Its continuous rocker shape has a smooth, consistent pop off the wake that makes learning to jump the wake much easier. A variable edge design is very forgiving under foot and then starts to sharpen towards the board’s tip and tail for strong hold while edging. Nelson and Murray say “less is more” when it comes to shaping a fun beginner-intermediate wakeboard. The base of the board is really simple and makes for clean water flow that smoothens out the ride.
