Most bigger wakesurfers feel like they pretty much have to stick with surf style boards because most skimmers don’t have the volume to keep them afloat. Phase 5 designed the Trident to get everyone on the boat skim riding, even the heavier dudes. Built with a super stiff black carbon cloth and available in a 59″ length, the Phase 5 Trident is a fun, playful ride if you have the necessary weight to control it. This board is not recommended for riders under 190 lbs.

The bat tail shape ensures lots of push from the wave and speed as you carve all over the wave. A tri-fin setup allows the rider to easily change the fin configuration for a totally different style of ride. Use just a single tail fin for a more true skim feel ideal for 360’s or toss in all three fins for a more surfy feel.
