Helmet Technology

Mips@ System
The Mips@ safety system features a Iow-friction layer inside the helmet, generally between the padding and the EPS foam protective layer, that allows a multi-directional movement of 10-15mm on certain angled impacts, intended to help reduce rotational force to the head. Oakley helmets feature either the Mips Series B or Mips Air.

1. Traditional helmets are designed and tested for straight impacts, but most impacts are angled, which can cause rotational motion to the head.
2. The rotational motion can cause brain injuries.
3. The Low Friction Layer is intended to help reduce the rotational motion to the head in certain angled impacts.

TWICEME@ TECHNOLOGY*

Shell shape designed for easy compatibility with sunglasses and prescription eyewear.

MIPS SAFETY SYSTEM

Comes standard on every STREETI helmet. Designed for added safety against a variety of accidents, helping to reduce the harmful forces that might otherwise impact the head.

REMOVABLE, WASHABLE LINER AND SWEAT GUARD

Textile padding adds more touchpoints to enhance overall comfort and is machine washable. The silicone gel Sweat Guard helps collect and divert sweat from the forehead to keep streak free.

OAKLEY 360 FIT SYSTEM

Ensures a confident and comfortable fit around the head when riding. The rear adjustable dial can be turned both directions for a custom-tuned fit. The 3-position adjustable yoke ensures a proper location under the occipital lobe and allows more room for ponytails.

ADJUSTABLE STRAPS

From youth to adult, straps aredesigned to adjust dependingon the rider’s fit and comfort needs.

FIDLOCK

Convenient fastening system that uses a magnetic buckle for an intuitive, pinch-free solution. Easily connect and disconnect buckle even while wearing gloves.
