2020 Hyperlite State 2.0 Wakeboard

The Hyperlite State 2.0 Wakeboard is a PEW (Performance Enhancing Wakeboard). Hyperlite created this board with one goal in mind: make a shape that will help beginner riders advance their skills by making it easy to master the fundamentals of wakeboarding.

The most obvious (and important) feature about this board is its asymmetrical shape. The shorter toeside edge makes learning to edging on your toes and toeside jumps easier to learn since there is less rail needed to initiate when applying toeside pressure. Subtle risers in the toeside footbed also help make it easier by creating more leverage when pressure is applied to the boards toeside edge. The heelside edge is a more traditional design for that classic feel during turns and while approaching the wake.

A thinner profiled board, it creates less drag, helping give the rider more feel and control on the water. An added bonus of the thinner profile is that the reduced drag allows beginners to start riding at slower speeds while still sitting high on the water. Hyperlite’s monocoque construction technology integrates the top and bottom glass into one, building a wakeboard that is highly durable and built to last for many summers. The abrupt continuous rocker makes a smooth, consistent pop off the wake every single time. This consistency helps instill confidence in riders learning to jump the wake and get more comfortable in the air.
