It takes more than just the factory ballast system in order to build an impressive wake and a better wake is proven to make for a more enjoyable wakesurfing and wakeboarding experience.

Our aftermarket ballast solutions increase the overall capacity of your boat’s factory ballast system for improved performance while keeping the convenience of controlling all ballast with the switches at your dash. The ballast bags included in your Factory Ballast Upgrade are integrated into your boat’s existing ballast system for automated filling/draining.

Using the factory Plug N Play that your MasterCraft came with, this MasterCraft Factory Ballast Upgrade replaces the factory bags with our FIT Series ballast bags. These additional ballast bags integrate with the factory system for an automated fill/drain process. The rear zone of the boat is the most important spot for additional weight, helping to increase the size of your MasterCraft’s wake. The increased capacity of your factory ballast system helps further displace the boat’s hull in the water and creates a sizable improvement.

The FIT Series ballast bags included in your kit is specially chosen for your year, make, and model MasterCraft boat to achieve the optimal fit. Our team of ballast experts have dug in the boats, measured the rear lockers, and selected the proper fitting FIT Series bag so that you get the best results. A better fitting ballast bag helps to maximize the bag’s capacity, make an easy installation process, and ensures a smooth fill/drain process.

Installation of the MasterCraft BagBuster Rear Factory Upgrade is easy and only takes a few minutes; Disconnect and remove your factory bags, drop in your new bags, reconnect to the ballast system, and you’re ready to hit the water! Don’t want to do a self-install and would rather take your boat to a professional? These upgrades can be completed by your local certified boat service center.

What’s Included:
This factory ballast upgrade is a complete solution that includes everything needed to upgrade the ballast on your boat:

• Port ExactFIT 935lb Ballast Bag
• Starboard ExactFIT 935lb Ballast Bag
• All required pre-assembled fittings and connectors required for installation

Fit Notes:

• Replaces the factory ballast bags, with their 400lb rated capacity, with our upgraded 935lb ExactFIT bags for an increase of over 530 pounds PER side.
• For full capacity, the “false” floor in the rear locker needs to be removed. With the false floor in place, our upgraded bags give you approximately 750 pounds of total capacity, for a 350 pound upgrade per side.

This Upgrade Requires the MasterCraft Gen II Surf System

In order to use our MasterCraft BagBuster upgrade, your boat will need to have the rear ballast option that was added with the MasterCraft Gen II Surf System.
