exclusive Factory Ballast Upgrade Kits are built and designed to unleash your boat’s full potential. It takes more than stock ballast to achieve the wake you’ve always desired. A better wake is proven to make for a more enjoyable wakesurfing and wakeboarding experience.

Adding more weight to the front of the boat helps to lengthen out the surf wave for a larger “sweet spot” and the more balanced distribution of weight creates a cleaner shaped wake for smooth takeoffs and landings while wakeboarding. Bow ballast is often overlooked but is equally important as ballast in any other zone of the boat.

Our aftermarket ballast solutions increase the overall capacity of your boat’s factory ballast system for improved performance while keeping the convenience of controlling all ballast with the switches at your dash. The ballast bags included in your Factory Ballast Upgrade are integrated into your boat’s existing ballast system for automated filling/draining.

The Axis Hi-Flo Plug N Play Factory Ballast Upgrade uses the auxiliary Shurflo pumps included in Axis boats equipped with Plug N Play. This factory option includes the plumbing to add bow ballast but did not include any bags. The bags included in our Factory Ballast Upgrade are designed to fit under the seats in the bow of your boat for a concealed look while still allowing passengers to sit in the bow of the boat. Once the bags are integrated they are filled and drained automatically using the front ballast switch in your boat’s dash.

Every Factory Ballast Upgrade is designed to be a user-friendly DIY install that can be completed in your garage over the course of an afternoon.
