The John John Florence Scimitar Vapor Core thruster is designed for performance surfing in small waves. John rides this fin when he needs to generate speed when the waves are small and lack power. These fins feature a full Vector foil, helping enhance lift and generate speed. The Scimitar Tip is represented by the cut-off portion of the fin, tailoring the grip characteristics. Vapor Core is the lightest performance fin construction ever, consisting of a hollow core. Every single fin is handmade from start to finish at our HQ in Huntington Beach, CA, using aerospace grade materials.

SCIMITAR TIP

The Scimitar Tip is the flattened edge of the tip on the trailing edge of the fin. By reducing the length of the template, were affecting the amount of hold the fin will have,tailoring the grip characteristics.

Thefull Vector foil in these fins gives them anenhanced lift while simultaneously generating the speed needed whilesurfingsmallwaves that are lacking power.

THICKER FOIL PROFILE

Leveraging the ultra-lightweight properties of Vapor Core construction, we have optimized the foil profile by increasing its thickness. The thicker foil significantly enhances the lift generated by the fins, translating to greater power and drive. This advanced design not only improves hydrodynamic efficiency but also maximizes performance in small wave conditions.
